Light snow expected Monday, heavier snow coming Tuesday

Judge puts Wisconsin capacity limit order back into effect

Tony Evers’ administration limiting the number of people who can gather in bars, restaurants and other indoor places to 25% of capacity. The capacity limits order was issued Oct. 6 by Andrea Palm, secretary of the state Department of Health Services, in the face of surging coronavirus cases in Wisconsin. Man arrested after fleeing authorities in stolen vehicle, hiding in Chisago County swamp

After the suspect got the vehicle stuck in a ditch, the sheriff’s office said the suspect fled into a wooded area. A K-9 unit was called and tracked the suspect into a swamp. The man was then arrested on 13 charges, including for an outstanding warrant, according to the sheriff’s office. The vehicle was confirmed to have been stolen and was reported missing by another law enforcement agency in southeastern Minnesota earlier Saturday. The suspect wasn’t immediately identified.
