The Capitol Hill Insurrectionists Had Some Trouble Staying on Message

In one of the most surreal events in American history, a mob of the defeated president’s supporters stormed the Capitol building in Washington last week to try to stop the certification of the Electoral College vote. They broke down barriers, destroyed windows, attacked police, and threatened the lawmakers inside the building with death. By the end of the day, one police officer and four protesters had died in the carnage. But it seems not everyone in the crowd was on the same page. Bravo Fan Accounts Refuse to Back Down on Politics

  • Ross, as well as other pages, posted memes condemning the insurrection at the Capitol.
  • It didn't sit well with a swath of his followers, who flooded his posts and DMs with comments about sticking to Bravo memes, staying out of politics, comparing BLM protests to the sedition, and other racist, negative comments.
