CHARLOTTE, N.C. — In this election, there is an emphasis on ensuring it is valid and that every voter has a fair chance of having their vote counted. Charlotte Fire responds to large apartment fire

Charlotte Fire said it happened at a three-story apartment complex called the Links at Citiside Apartments. CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Fire Department responded to an apartment fire around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. Charlotte Fire said it happened at a three-story apartment complex called The Links at Citiside Apartments located at the 4800 block of Community Circle. Two COVID-19 clusters identified in UNCC residence halls

The clusters were identified after the university tested three residence halls. CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two COVID-19 clusters have been identified on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte campus, university officials confirmed in a NinerNotice alert to students.  It comes one day after UNCC confirmed three residence halls would be tested.  UNCC completed 658 “proactive tests” on residents and staff in three residence halls over the weekend after an uptick of COVID-19 cases connected to the campus. Nine cases of COVID-19 tied to Charlotte church events

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mecklenburg County Public Health is advising that anyone who attended recent events at the United House of Prayer For All People should get tested for COVID-19. The church is located at 2321 Beatties Ford Road. Mecklenburg County Public Health said the events were held the weekend of October 10-11. At least nine cases of COVID-19 are possible connected to the convocation events that took place that weekend.  There will be free COVID-19 testing at StarMed Health at 4001 Tuckaseegee Road on Sunday, October 18.
