BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — With the COVID-19 pandemic, central Indiana music is without a stage and our favorite places to enjoy live music could close forever. WISH-TV and 92.3 WTTS-FM have partnered with the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance for Save Our Stages, working to support and save our local, independent music venues. Paul Mendenhall of 92.3 WTTS-FM spoke with Dave Kubiak from the Bluebird.  “It’s a difficult balancing act,” Kubiak expressed while urging people to “come out and support a show or share event on Facebook or social media or any little bit helps.” For a schedule of […]Read full article >

For weeks, the Postal Service has said if you plan to vote by mail, plan ahead. But Election Day is next week, and some Hoosiers still have not returned their ballots. “This is an effort for us to be there for any voter who has waited until the last minute, to make sure their vote counts, […]Read full article >

The White House ceremony comes a week before Election Day and a month after a White House Rose Garden event to announce Barrett’s nomination — which has been labeled by public health experts as a coronavirus superspreader event. At least a dozen people who were at the announcement in September confirmed they had contracted the coronavirus shortly after their […]Read full article >

FORTVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A new dentist office in Hancock County had to delay its opening because of COVID-19, but Advanced Dental Care is now taking appointments in Fortville. Dr. Jack Summerlin says they opened the new office on March 1; then the pandemic hit. “You know it’s been ups and downs and just getting through it. It’s been a journey to get the doors open, but we’re happy to be open,” he said. “With everything going on, it gave us a chance to kind of step back and look at the processes and just kind of get best practices in place and develop a little bit of a new model for dental […]Read full article >
