The People's Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute climate documentary that doesn't exist on any streaming platform. The film avoids finger-wagging about individual behaviour — no scolding about flights or cheese — and focuses entirely on demanding government-level emergency action comparable to the pandemic response. Early findings from a forthcoming academic impact study suggest that every screening in a constituency makes its MP more likely to back a televised emergency briefing — the film's core demand. The model converts distributed civic energy into measurable political signal at the constituency level. It's a pressure tool designed to work through the existing representative system rather than around it. The broader context is significant.
